Learn perfect handling with your Nordic ski! As former cross country ski professional, twice the winner of the Engadine Skimarathon, Olympic and World Championships participant as well as Swiss Master, Daniel is the ideal partner to learn the art of the nice cross country skiing in the Engadine or to improve with a few competent tips your already existing technical knowledge.
A few hours only are already sufficient to make the best out of it. Daniel takes care of hobby sportsmen/women as well as professionals. With his sense of humour the fun factor won't be missed out.
Cross country ski schoolDaniels cross country ski school is situated in Silvaplana. Instruction is given therefore mostly with enough snow on the slopes between Maloja and Pontresina. Spectacular is with the appropriate weather conditions that the slopes lead across the frozen lakes of the region. An incredible experience when your Nordic skis move over the traces which are prepared on the ice. The skating and classical technique are trained.
Meeting pointThe cross country lessons usually begin at the bridge between Silvaplana and Surlej, where the meeting point is.
Opening hoursWhen enough snow and appropriate conditions the cross country ski school is open from December until Easter. Before this period you can learn cross country skiing in Livigno at the Italian-Swiss border with Daniel Sandoz and his team.
