Snowkiting on skis or snowboard for everybody

What is snowkiting?

Snowkiting is a young sport, which has developed to be a trend sport. Fascinated by the many opportunities that the snowkiting offers, it attracts more and more skiers and snowboarders. Snowkiting offers an alternative to skiing or snowboarding in overcrowded ski resorts.
Drawn from a kite you glide with the skis or snowboard over the snow! Frozen lakes, levels, up hill and down: With the kite, it is possible only with the help of natural wind power to reach untouched spots and over hills. Even a small breeze of wind is enough to glide. With increasing level snowkiting also offers the opportunity to jump.

Is snowkiting dangerous?

Snowkiting is not a dangerous sport, but there are important safety rules, which must be respected.  Therefore, a professional Snowkite course must be attended to learn the main snowkite basics. So a safe and fast entry into the sport is guaranteed.
The kites today are equiped with a functional safety system. The kiter always has the possibility to separate from the kite.

What do I need to snowkite?

To snowkite you do not need much: ski or snowboard equipment, a harness (abdominal belt) and a kite. Anyone who does not ski or snowboard could begin with snowblades or bigfoot. The complete kite equipment is provides by the school.

Snowkiting, anyone can learn! It takes not more than joy of nature and the snow, and a small portion of adventure.

Snowkiting as entry into kitesurfing on the water. Snowkiting is very well suited as a prelude to kitesurfing. Anyone who can kite on snow learns kitesurfing on the water much faster!
